Can the office rental process be quicker, easier and more efficient, on part of both the lessor and the lessee? Is it possible to negotiate rental rates and other conditions online, at the same place we find the advertisement? Can there be anything exciting about this process? Yes, indeed. It is enough to carry it out in the mode of... a bid battle, where the lessor provides the interested lessee with counteroffers in terms of e.g. different rate or rental period and the lessee chooses the one they find the most advantageous. This is the tool that the team of Programa™ was recently working on. How did we design it?

I came up with the idea for creating a modern portal for lessees and lessors when I was working in a real estate agency. Every single day I saw how this industry operates and I noticed certain imperfections, so I decided to find a way to make it easier for the clients to navigate the real estate market. Together with the team of Programa™ we were working for several months in order to create a tool that would adjust the offers precisely to the expectations of clients, also the smaller ones. The whole idea evolved during the project – Programa™ not only reacted to all changes quickly, but also provided advice on the direction in which it was worth developing the portal, says Michał Mierzwa, CEO of ODbiur.pl, summarising the collaboration.
The work on ODbiur.pl portal was carried out in years 2016 and 2017. Having had collected the requirements, we prepared mock-ups and graphic design of the portal and commenced development.
The preparation and launching of the ODbiur.pl portal was one of the most dynamic projects that we have executed recently. We implemented many interesting functions in it, such as e.g. payments in subscription mode and for every single action carried out at the portal. Our developers have also created an offer search algorithm thanks to which the user receives on a plate the offers that answer their needs very accurately, relates Magdalena Nowak, project manager at Programa™.

One of the main assumptions of the project was to develop of a tool that is simple to use, truly facilitates finding the optimal offer and enables carrying out negotiations between the parties interested. In order to make this possible, we not only perfected the technical aspect of the portal, but also focused on a modern intuitive design encouraging to take advantage of its services.

At first, the preparation of logo for the portal was entrusted to an independent graphic artist. However, his suggestions did not reflect the lightness and innovativeness characterising the idea behind ODbiur.pl. Thus, I handed over this matter to Programa™, hoping that they can design a perfect logo for the portal. I was not disappointed – the very first suggestion coming from their graphic artist hit the spot. Same as in case of the whole website design, Michał Mierzwa adds.
